We are delighted to welcome you to our Reception class, where every child is encouraged to grow, explore and shine. Guided by our school vision of Giving Every Child a Chance to Shine, we provide a nurturing and engaging environment where children feel happy, safe and valued. Through exciting learning opportunities, imaginative play and hands-on experiences, we inspire children to develop our core values of Respect, Resilience and Curiosity every day. We work closely with families to support each child's unique journey, helping them build confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning. We look forward to sharing all the wonderful experiences, achievements and adventures that make Reception such a special year.

Meet the Team

In Reception we are lucky enough to have two class teachers, 

Mrs Whittle teaches the class every Monday and Mrs Tapping our Early Years Leader, teaches the class for the remainder of the week. 

We have four experienced teaching assistants supporting the teaching team in Reception;  

Mrs Evans, Mrs Pearce-Glasgow, Mrs Durrant and Miss Fleur.
