We are delighted to welcome you to our Reception class, where every child is encouraged to grow, explore and shine. Guided by our school vision of Giving Every Child a Chance to Shine, we provide a nurturing and engaging environment where children feel happy, safe and valued. Through exciting learning opportunities, imaginative play and hands-on experiences, we inspire children to develop our core values of Respect, Resilience and Curiosity every day. We work closely with families to support each child's unique journey, helping them build confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning. We look forward to sharing all the wonderful experiences, achievements and adventures that make Reception such a special year.

Meet the Team

Mrs Tapping is both our Reception class teacher and our Early Years Leader. 

We have four teaching assistants supporting the teaching team in Reception;  

Mrs Evans, Miss Wharton, Miss Pearse and Mrs Eggleton. Throughout the Autumn term, Miss Fleur will also be on hand to greet the children in the morning, helping the children make a successful transition from Pre-School to Recpetion.
