Our daily assemblies are an important part of school life, bringing all year groups together as a community to inspire, celebrate and learn. Throughout the week, assemblies are carefully planned to promote our school values and support pupils' personal development.

Our Headteacher's assemblies focus on British values, including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance, while reinforcing our school values and encouraging pupils to make positive choices both in and out of school.

Pupils also enjoy weekly singing assemblies, where they develop confidence, teamwork and a love of music, alongside celebration assemblies that recognise achievements, effort, excellent behaviour and successes both within school and beyond.  We welcome childrens' families to our Star Assemblies on Friday mornings, to celebrate their childrens' individual achievements. 

Throughout the year, we welcome a wide range of special visitors who enrich our curriculum and broaden pupils' experiences. These include professionals delivering important safety messages, such as water safety and rail safety, as well as representatives from local churches leading assemblies linked to key Christian festivals and values. Pupils also benefit from visits by poets, authors, scientists, athletes and orchestras, providing inspiring opportunities to develop their knowledge, creativity and aspirations while fostering curiosity about the wider world.
