Steeple Claydon School and Pre-School

Safeguarding Statement and Policies

Safeguarding Intent

At Steeple Claydon School and Preschool, we are committed to providing an environment which is safe, and where the welfare of each child is of paramount importance. This will include a commitment to ensuring that all pupils feel confident that any concerns they may have will be listened to and acted upon.

What policies and procedures do we have in place?

The school’s Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy can be found below. It outlines the systems we have in place to ensure that all members of our community are aware of the importance of safeguarding and child protection. Additionally, it makes clear the responsibilities for identifying and reporting issues, and how they are then dealt with.
