We are delighted to announce that S4A (previously known as ‘Sports 4 All’) will be running our after school clubs from January 2020. S4A have provided sports clubs for us in the past and their high quality of provision has encouraged us to move all after school care into their hands. Mrs Gibbons will remain part of the team so the children will have continuity of care and will recognise a familiar face!
The new S4A club, known as ‘Sun-setters’ will give every child attending a cold snack upon arrival at 3:15pm. Every day they will run a range of activities, such as Dodgeball, Lego Club, Arts & Crafts, Gymnastics and Science to name a few! The day’s activities will be available to see on their website (currently being updated with this information) and it will be up to each child to choose which activity they take part in.
The Sun-Setter Club will be split into three sessions (3:15-4:30, 4:30-5:00 & 5:00-6:00pm). Children will still be able to be booked in for just the earlier session(s) if required and bookings can be taken right up until the end of the school day.
From January, all bookings and payments for after school clubs will be made directly on the S4A website:
S4A do accept childcare vouchers and information on how to pay using this method is also on their website.
Currently S4A are not able to accept bookings from Nursery children however this will be reviewed in due course.
Breakfast Club will continue to be run by Mrs Foster and Mrs Gibbons each day from 8am to 8:45am and Mr Anderson will run Badminton Club for KS2 children as before. The Book-A-Club system will continue to be used for these bookings and payment will be taken via Parent Pay or childcare vouchers. Please use the Breakfast Club 2020 option when booking from next term.
